There's one in every town. The family no one talks to, the kids people cross the street to avoid. In Bon Temps, for a time, it was the Moreau family. Their family home, a ramshackled mansion sat nestled on the outskirts of town and was avoided by most of the "god fearing" people of the town. Natalia Moreau was a known practicer of dark magicks and was not ashamed to admit it. Her husband Lucas was a horror writer of some notoriety. Their eldest child was a young and dangerously precocious girl named Isabelle. An eager student to her mother's teachings, Isabelle used her magical abilities and her looks to get what she wanted from whoever she wanted it from. From a young age, she became known for having little regard for anyone but herself, her younger sister and the few friends she had acquired.
What was not known to the outside world, what Isabelle kept secret was the cruelty of her parents and it's nature. With a mother who grew increasingly jealous of her daughter's abilities and a father whose darkness went far beyond the supernatural world, Isabelle had turned hard and callous to survive. Once she graduated from high school, she left her hometown.
Relying on her abilities in witchcraft and charm, Isabelle became well known as a witch for hire. Traveling the country, she made friends and connections all over. It wasn't long before she turned to stealing and was often hired to obtain well known magical objects. It was around the time of the outing of the vampires that her father was murdered and her mother accused of the crime. Taking custody of her sister, she sent Julianna to a prestigious boarding school in London. Keeping it's location a secret from everyone who knew their mother.
While the outing of the supernatural world was concerning to her, it was only when the omens started that she decided it was time to stop moving around as much and stick closer to home. Purchasing an old antique shop in her home town, she's moved her sister home from London and began to form a coven of morally gray witches.
